1. Tell me about your ideas and vision for a book – fiction, non-fiction, or memoir. Send me any documents, share some stories, a potential book title, an ideal timeframe. 
   
2. I’ll get back to you with my process, a start date, a timeline, and a quote: the book cost is broken up into 4 payment milestones; a 25% deposit is expected at the start of the project. 
   
3. Once the quote is approved, we’ll sit together and work on the book outline. I’ll share a template which we can use to record your rough ideas and story plot.
   
4. Once I have your ideas, stories and a plot outline, I can start writing! Expect 5,000-10,000 words or 5-10 chapters/month, (depending on how we structure the book). If you’d like, you can receive regular updates with a fresh draft to read and review.
   
5. If I’m writing a 60,000 word book (ca. 200 pages), your book will be complete in around six months, depending on how quickly we can gather content and rewrite any chapters.
   
6. I can also guide your book through the Amazon publishing process for paperback, hardback and e-book, including cover design, formatting, and Amazon category creation.

Jason has worked as a business journalist and editor of the Swiss bank UBS, for the German business publisher Verlag für die Deutsche Wirtschaft, has written for a Swiss Expat Lifestyle Magazine, and has published the book The Lausitz Ring, a semi-autobiographical account of a business start-up and expat rebirth in eastern Germany.
